So this is a strange senrendipity story… or maybe not. I pulled out my 2003 collection of Yugioh cards that I bought during a beautiful time in my life with my sons and daughter. The first and only summer I had with them without working and just doing.
My son loved going to Comic Connections almost every day to check out cards and trade. He was very astute in his ability to know what he was doing at the age of 9.
I, on the other hand, in connecting with him, chose cards too. I chose cards that reminded me of my life at that time. Events that were happening, memories that were swirling in my mind like a twister, tornado some days, and other days peacefulness.
It was the summer of 2003. The year I separated. The year that was going was going to really make a life changing experience for over 15 years of adjustments, decisions, some good, some bad… and bringing me home to here.
So for the next few posts, I will be sharing my Yugioh mind thoughts, as I purchased each one of them.
Admittedly, I went online to find out their value to see if they were worth sellling… and as I went through each… I realized… their value is more important here… as a story, then to sell them off $1 to $20 each, depending. I won’t let them go. But I will share their stories… My story through my Yugioh cards. 🙂
